STORING YOUR VAN FOR WINTER? Clean and air your equipment.

This time of year, some of us have hung up our van keys and are allowing our caravans a good and well earned rest. If this is you, then just remember to do a couple of things to make it easier when you go back to venturing out in the new year.

1. If you are not wanting to drain your van down, then just complete the following. A. Open your taps to drain excess water. B. Take down the shower head and open that tap too, leave them open, this will allow any water to expand without cracking anything.
2. Take home bedding so it can be aired and kept fresh. This is also a good time to clear out your cabinets and clean the shelves and draws.
3. Have a look around the van, in and out to check anything that needs repairing or looking at by a specialist.
4. Finally, book you vlcaravan in for a service.
